Spring 2026: We are waiting to hear from Compass Point on Grand Cayman’s east end as to when they will open #25 called Old Wreck Head. It has not been open since last March and it’s totally up to the DOE on the island. Usually, it’s only open for a week or two per year. Without that dive, you can never complete all 55 sites. Those who dive with me also all need several dives in Zone F, and the weather has to be “right” to be able to do those as well, else the 55-site goal cannot be reached! Carol has promised that I’m the first call on the list when they get word of the opening, so all I can tell you is to be ready – my best guess is March or April. Stay tuned for updates!
Early Summer 2026: We’ll attempt a lionfish hunting dive – if – we can get good flights to Dominica which do not involve LIAT. I want to nail down Grand Cayman prior to this.
July 15th - 29th, 2026: Please join us for a Viking cruise to England, Ireland and Scotland. While this is not a dive trip, there is lots to see and do. Call me for details.
"Bloody Bay Wall is arguably one of the best wall dives in the world."
Undercurrent rates Little Cayman 4.5 out of 5 stars for experienced divers and 5 out of 5 for beginner or newer divers. Visitors to the island rate this 4.8 out of 5 stars! I have taken groups here several times and virtually everybody wanted to go back!
August 8 - 15, 2026: Come dive with us in the breath taking crystal clear waters off Little Cayman where the visibility is up to 200 feet and where you will see all manner of sea life including rays, turtles, dolphins, reef sharks, barracudas, and large schools of fish, as well as incredibly healthy corals. Little Cayman is largely undeveloped and is similar to the way Grand Cayman was 30 years ago.
We will be staying at the Little Cayman Beach Resort where we have stayed before! Amenities include: restaurant and bar; dive shop; fresh water swimming pool; hammocks, chaise lounges, beach towels; high speed internet access in the club house and Wi-Fi.
Little Cayman Beach Resort has a private spacious dive boat and long term staff that will show us a great time. All levels of divers are welcome. Guests also enjoy fishing, swimming, nature hikes, bike rides, picnic, bird watching and lots of relaxation.
I am currently holding ten (10) pool view rooms in this "All Inclusive" resort, so please let me know ASAP if you want to join us. Ocean view rooms are available at a higher cost, and of course we can do singles; non-divers; triple occupancy; etc. on request.
